Homework:
Once there was a little girl named Celeste who was born into a ninja family. She was cursed with the power of immortality. One day her family's enemies secretly came to attack them while they were asleep. She was shot in the head and was still alive. When she woke up her whole family was dead!! DUN DUN DUN. Years passed and she decided to live in Taipei, Taiwan in a house she built full of secret passages. But that house is only temporary, because she must constantly move in order to avoid people's suspicions. Her only friend is her dog named Jiggle. She is a billionaire and her job is being fabulous. Out in the streets she disguises herself as a poor woman who wonders around when really she is scanning for troublemakers. People who happen to stumble upon her sees her as a sweet and charming lady. But those who pass to the other side of her world sees that she also has a deadly side.
On her own time she likes to kill people who has done bad deeds. Her greatest wish is to be able to seppuku to be with her family. Ever since her family had passed away their name has gone out of the history book of famous ninjas. No one ever mention's any of her family members anymore. But those who do happen to know are usually already dead (because she killed them huehuehuehue).
Her greatest fear is to be alone. Many times has people tried to kill her, and yet when they are given the chance to do it. She does not die. And at the end of every battle, she looks at her enemy in a disappointed way that they were not able to fulfill her one and only wish. She soon realizes though that she could do so much more with her curse, because of it she is invincible and continues to eliminate enemies and bad guys. Making the world a bit more peaceful, and peaceful for her too. She also realizes that she has Jiggle yet knows that Jiggle too will not live as long as her. But she must face her destiny, and continue on into the future. To see what more humans could make out of the world as centuries past.
Character Sketch:
The character is an immortal female ninja who is rich and disguised as a poor person. She lives in Taipei, Taiwan in a house full of passages. Her occupation is being fabulous, and she likes to kill bad guys on her free time while she wishes to perform seppuku because he greatest fear is being alone. A close companion that she has is her doggy, Jiggle.
Mid-Reflection:
Some of the challenges that writers, directors and actors face when "working" with a character is trying to come up with the background of a character. Trying to make the character's life from up to that point and trying to think on how/why the character's attitude is the way they are. Another thing is also to try to stay in character the whole time while acting and while scripting the story.
